Brushless motor has three coil leads and five Hall leads. These eight leads must correspond with the controller, otherwise the motor can not rotate properly. In general, 60 degrees and 120 degrees phase angle brushless motor, need to be driven by 60 degrees and 120 degrees phase angle brushless controller, the two phase angle controller can not be directly exchanged. The 8 wires that connect the 60 degree phase angle brushless motor to the 60 degree phase angle controller have two correct wiring, one for forward rotation and the other for reverse rotation.
How should brushless motors be wired?
Since for a brushless motor with a phase angle of 120 degrees, by adjusting the phase sequence of the coil leads and the phase sequence of the Hall leads, there are 6 correct wires to connect to the motor and controller, 3 for forward rotation and the other 3 for reverse rotation. If the brushless motor reverses, it means that the phase angle of the brushless controller matches that of the brushless motor, and the A and C wires between the brushless motor and the hall leads of the brushless controller regulate the motor steering; at the same time, the main phase wires A and B of the brushless motor and the brushless controller are switched.
There are 36 ways to connect the three thinner Hall phase wires and the three thicker motor winding phase wires to the controller. When replacing the wires, they can be energized, but be careful to do so in an orderly manner. Each rotation angle of the speed control handle should not be too large, so as not to damage the controller. If the motor shows abnormal phenomenon, such as shaking or excessive noise, it indicates incorrect state. If the motor reverses in a certain state, the controller wire sequence is known, then only the controller Hall wire A and B replacement motor winding phase wire A and B motor can rotate forward.
