3. Armature circuit series resistance speed regulation. The larger the series resistance, the softer the mechanical characteristics, the more unstable the speed, the higher the series resistance at low speeds, the greater the energy loss, the lower the efficiency. The speed control range is affected by the load size. When the load is large, the speed control range is wide; when the load is light, the speed control range is small.
