What are the main causes of noise from stator winding machines? For most motor manufacturers, the stator winding work is basically done by the winding machine, but many of my friends report that when their winding machine is running, it is very noisy and feels annoying. So is this noise in itself or is there something wrong with the machine?
Anyone who understands some kind of machinery should know that noise is mainly caused by vibration, so how is vibration generated? Generally speaking, the main causes are misalignment, mass imbalance, bearing failure and mechanical looseness.
1. The alignment of the machine is very important, and so is the stator winding machine. If there is no alignment, then stresses may be applied to the bearings and parts. Usually, the main causes of parallelism and angularity exist. Common are the relative position movement of the installed original components, deformation of the system pressure, deformation of the machine due to temperature changes, offset when fixing the bolts, non-perpendicularity of the connection surface and axis, etc.
2. Mass imbalance, mainly due to mass and geometry line is not aligned to cause abnormal state. When the spindle of the winding machine rotates, it generates a centrifugal force on the bearing, and the magnitude of the force varies steadily with the rotation of the spindle. There are three types of imbalance: static imbalance or force imbalance, moment imbalance or even dynamic imbalance.
3. Bearing failure, rolling bearing fatigue spalling, wear, plastic deformation, corrosion, gluing and cage damage; sliding bearing bushes alloy loose, bushes alloy damage, bearing shell loose, bearing clearance too large.
4. mechanical loosening, there are two types of loosening: rotating loosening and non-rotating loosening, bearing wear may lead to rotating loosening. When the fault is detected, signs of bearing wear will be detected first, and then bearing looseness will occur. Looseness may lead to other faults or other failures of the machine. Wear and deformation of mechanical parts, misalignment and unbalance of the shaft system, etc., and looseness may interact with each other.
These are the main causes of noise from stator winding machines. Only by mastering these basics, the winding machine can run stably and work normally.
