Transformers generally consist of a core, coil, shell and the necessary insulating materials. The transformer coils are generally divided into high-voltage coils and low-voltage coils. Transformer coil winding is the core process of transformer manufacturing, and has a great impact on the performance of the transformer. With the traditional winding method, not only is the winding efficiency low, but the quality of the finished coil is also poor. Currently, automatic winding machines are commonly used for transformer coil winding, which can significantly improve production efficiency and line up accuracy. Among the automatic winding machines, there are vertical winding machines for large transformers, as well as horizontal winding machines and foil winding machines for transformers of lower voltage levels and smaller capacities.
