DC geared motor

Unlike brushed DC motors, brushless DC motors do not use mechanical brush devices and use square wave self-controlled permanent magnet synchronous motors with Hall sensors instead of carbon brush commutators and neodymium iron boron as the permanent magnet material for the rotor. Compared with the general traditional brush motor, brushless DC motor has great advantages in performance.

Advantages of brushless DC motor:high efficiency, low energy consumption, low noise, long life, high reliability, servo control, stepless frequency control, relatively low cost and easy to use.

The stator windings of brushless DC motors are mostly made into a three-phase symmetrical star connection, which is very similar to a three-phase asynchronous motor. A magnetized permanent magnet is attached to the rotor of the motor. To detect the polarity of the motor rotor, a position sensor is installed in the motor.

The driver consists of power electronics, integrated circuits, etc. Its functions are: to receive motor start, stop and brake signals to control the motor start, stop and brake; to receive position sensor signals and positive and negative signals for controlling the on/off of each power tube of the inverter bridge to generate continuous torque; to receive speed command and speed feedback signals to control and adjust the speed; to provide protection and display, etc.
