If a conventional motor is used, most of the power is offset by weight, so even if such a drone could fly, it would not be able to carry other equipment. Brushless motors can provide higher torque and thus can produce more power in a smaller size and lighter weight, which also gives the model drone extra power to carry other devices, such as cameras or other equipment.

In addition, the flight and control of the model drone must be as stable as possible, and it adjusts its flight attitude through a built-in flight control chip. Sensors are used to sense various data and adjust the power of each motor in time so that stability can be maintained. However, if the motors used to generate lift produce significant vibration at any given time, it obviously puts a tremendous strain on flight control and makes it more likely to fail in the event of airflow or other instability. A brushless motor obviously has much lower vibration and its controllability is much better. Not only does it allow autonomous control of the flight controller, but it also makes flexible remote control possible. Today, there is also a competition dominated by model drones, where remote-controlled drones can quickly traverse various obstacles. Without such a hardware base, it is obviously impossible to do so.
