What is the difference and difference between the inner and outer rotor of brushless motor.

A, the instructions are different

1, inner rotor: rotating body supported by inner bearing with rigid connection or additional shaft.

2, the outer rotor: the rotating body supported by the outer bearing, using rigid connection or additional shaft.

Second, the principle is different

1、Inner rotor: the rotor in induction motors, consisting of a rotating iron core and a closed conductor embedded in the core, is driven by the rotating magnetic field generated by the stator winding to produce high-speed rotary motion. The rotor adopts rolling bearings at both ends and is installed and fixed in the end cover of the motor casing.

2、Outer rotor: in the center of the motor, maintaining magnetic balance. However, in the case of force instability, any small displacement can cause the rotor to deviate from its original position, and it may even lose contact with the stator completely. The suspension control of radial position is used to eliminate the eccentric displacement of the motor rotor.

1、Inner rotor: electric motors, generators, gas turbines, turbo compressors and other high-speed rotating power machinery or work machinery.

2、Outer rotor: space-saving, compact design and beautiful function. Suitable for installation inside the impeller with the best cooling effect. No need for V-belt, additional tension belt or other equipment.
