Third, the winding process
1、Methods and steps for winding cylindrical coils:
One installs the mold, baffle plate and skeleton plate respectively and tighten them with a wrench.
2. Wind the skeleton plate tightly 3 times with insulating film paper of the same length as the mold. Tape it with transparent tape so it won’t come loose.
3. Pass the wire end through the baffle and reserve the wire end length as needed and thread on an insulated conduit that fits the wire gauge. The conduit must pass through the baffle and be guaranteed to go more than half a turn around the winding die to ensure that the conduit does not slip out of the coil. The length of the conduit outside the baffle should not be less than 60mm.
4. Coils with taps should be tapped according to the drawings, and the taps should be neatly arranged, especially the number of turns should be accurate; the conduit guides the two wires of the tap together, directly to the root of the tap, and retains the baffle. Conduits with lengths greater than 60mm should be reserved for the extra length of the tap wires as required. To ensure that there is no short circuit between turns at the wire break, two layers of fiberglass cloth tape or polyester insulating film should be wrapped around the break.
5. If the drawing requires replacement of the wire gauge at the tap position, the larger wire of the tap lead should be longer than the smaller wire, and the size of the wire gauge should be consistent with the drawing. If there is a joint in the winding, it is used as an outer type within 8mm and cut 80mm outside the baffle.
6. Ventilation strips should be placed on the four corners of the coil. Place the ventilation strips on top and after a few turns of winding, tap with a wooden hammer on both sides of each of the four corners of the coil so that the ventilation strips do not slip, then continue winding. When winding the secondary coil (coupling coil), wind the primary wire first. After the primary wire is wound, level it, then wrap it in three layers of semi-polyester insulating film, and tape the seams with clear tape. Pad and wrap the secondary wire to electrically isolate the primary wire from the secondary wire. The closest distance between the two wires is not less than 3.5mm.
7. In the last few turns of winding coil, should be placed in the tie (white gauze tape or conduit), in order to facilitate the tightening of the end of the wire, the tie should be tightened in two positions. The end of the wire should be led to the insulated conduit in the same manner as the end of the wire.
8. After the coil is wound and leveled, then remove the coil from the mold, cut off the excess head of the tie, and place the coil in the designated location. The storage location should be protected from moisture and dust.
Winding method and steps for coil winding
1. A set of disk-shaped coil has more than two coils, two coils in series. For this type of coil, the total length of wire required for the coil should be calculated first and the wire should be removed from the coil and cut.
2. Install the baffle and die and start winding the first coil. After winding, remove the coil and tighten it at the four corners. Then install the coil in the opposite direction on the winder and start winding the second coil. The same method can be used around the third disc.
3. Coils with more than three turns are usually divided into two groups and wound separately. After winding, they are connected in series and combined to form a set of coils.
4.After the coils are wound, cut off the excess head of the tie wire, flatten it and store it in the designated location.
