DC brushless motor mainly converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, or mechanical energy into electrical energy, speed control is the key, often need speed regulation, so what are the common ways to regulate speed?

1. Change the resistance of the speed control circuit

Various DC brushless motors can be speed regulated according to the change of armature circuit resistance. When the load is constant, as the series external resistance increases, the total resistance of the armature circuit increases and the speed of the motor decreases. Changing the external resistance can be achieved by contactor or main switch conversion.

2. Changing the voltage of the speed control circuit

Continuously changing the operating voltage of the brushless motor power supply system can make the brushless DC brushless motor achieve a wide range of stepless speed change. There are two ways to change the working voltage of brushless motor power supply system, one is the speed control system of generator-generator set power supply system and the other is the speed control system of thyristor variable current power supply system.

3. Changing the current of speed regulation circuit

When the operating voltage of brushless motor is constant, the speed can be changed even if the current of DC brushless motor is changed.
